Mask Guidelines for Students

July 14, 2020

For everyone’s protection, students are required to wear facial coverings in all common areas, including classrooms and buildings, the library, and walking through campus. Masks are required to be worn in all common areas of the residence halls, including hallways and kitchens, but may be removed while residents are in their rooms. Masks will need to be worn in common spaces of common/corridor bathrooms and can be removed while in stall, shower, or while using the sink. Masks will need to be worn in hall dining areas unless seated and eating.

We understand wearing a mask is constrictive and just plain not fun. But practicing preventive measures such as this is the best way to get us all back to the campus experience we know and love. For more information about wearing a mask on campus please reference our universal mask policy here.
