COVID-19 Vaccination Policy Announcement

Message from the Vice President of Student Affairs to students, August 3, 2021

Dear Students:

Please find the official Vaccination Policy of Nichols College here.

Read and become familiar with this policy as it stands today.

Although Nichols College has not mandated the vaccine, we are mandating disclosure of vaccination status. Anyone who has had the vaccine is asked to upload their vaccination document to their CoVerified app; or, if partially vaccinated please notify us via email at CovidTesting@nichols.edu by this Friday 8/6/21.

Anyone who does not disclose their status will be assumed to be unvaccinated. Unvaccinated individuals will be required to adhere to certain safety precautions such as mask wearing, random testing, pre-arrival negative test result and social distancing. Please see the attachment for more detail.

The safety protocols set forth in this document apply to students, faculty, staff, third-party employees and visitors.

We are about to rebuild the Bison Bubble – and stronger than it ever was; our momentum together towards a vaccinated campus will help determine the strength of that bubble. Whether masked or vaxxed we need everyone ready and willing to do their part.
